Minimize ladder in Grid Interface

The problem is that when teh ladder is minimized only a few mm of the top of the ladder is shown. I cannot change the size of the ladder anymore. It is possible (in the small strip you can just see the maximize icon) to maximize fullscreen.
Is there a way to resize the ladder again?

You can reset the size and position to the default setting using "Reset ladder popup position" from the options menu.

I did "Reset ladder popup position", but the result is that the position is reset but I still cannot resize. It is or full screen or a small strip of the top of the ladder, which I cannot resize.
