is there a problem with "take SP"?

I have it checked, but it sets the bet up as "Keep in play"

Never heard of this problem before. There isn't a problem as far as I know. After you have placed the bet which column is ticked in the bets manager at the bottom of the screen? It should be the "SP" column.

IP is checked in the bet manager, even though i have "SP in Play" checked at the top

happens on all UK racing markets

Very strange. I cannot reproduce the problem. So even after restarting the program this problem occurs on the first market you try and "SP in play" is ticked in the top left hand corner under betting options?

I notice that you are not on the latest version. I don't think it will make a difference, but you may as well upgrade. Uninstall using the Windows control panel then re-install from the link below.

i think it might be me, the bets come from a spreadsheet and have this problem, when i place them manually, they seem OK

I thought you were placing them manually. What trigger are you using? Excel triggers do not use the settings from the interface. You have to use trigger modifiers to specify the keep bet options. eg. BACK-IP to keep in play or BACK-SP to convert to SP at the off.
