enlarge My Bets window

Postby davez » Thu Mar 03, 2011 3:50 am

would like to bring up an issue that does annoy me from time to time - I often use the My Bets window & cannot enlarge the window at all which mean that bets placed etc can only be viewed by scrolling down.

There appears to be plenty of room below to enlarge the My Bets window, but I have been unable to find a way to do so?

any suggestions?

I think this may be a bug in the Beta version that I spotted recently. You shouldn't have to enlarge it, it should use all the available space. I will be fixing it in the next release.

Since I became aware of this I haven't been able to reproduce it. I have definitely seen it though. Is it still happening to you? If so can you send use a screenshot next time it happens as it may provide a clue. I wish I had taken a screenshot now :(

It's OK. I've finally been able to reproduce it. Can you remember if you resized the bets manager at the bottom of the screen before this problem occurred?

I recall first noticing it when I cancelled a bet in My Bets then placed another - each time I did this the window would shrink further & I could not resize it - changing to another market would then resize My Bets.

& I had not resized the the Bets Manager at the bottom of screen.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
