ok thanks i just thought there was a way that you could automaticaly green as you put lay bet in lower than back bet without pressing level profit.

That's what the level profit column will do. If you back at odds 3.00 for example you can then click the level profit column next to odds 2.00 and it will place the appropriate lay bet to create a level profit. It also displays what that level profit will be before you click it.

Who's Eddie? Do you mean Gary?

I'm not quite sure what you mean when you say it works one way, but not another as there is only one way to green up on the grid.

Here is a video that demonstrates greening up. I first back Box of Frogs. I then move the cursor over to the level profit column. The level profit column is showing "what if" figures, ie. what your P&L will be if you green up. I then click the level profit column and you can see that the P&L is now what the "what if" figures predicted. Obviously in this example I did this before there was an opportunity to green up and actually "redded up", but it's the same principle.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
