A REALLY SILLY QUESTION ABOUT TRIGGERS

Hello boys and girls,

its the middle of nightshift and I have'nt had much practice creating my own triggers, so please excuse my ignorance.

If I have a trigger such as "LAY-TL1-IP", does it have to be enclosed in an IF statement in Excel? Or do I simply enter the trigger formula in the trigger column cells?

If you enter your trigger directly, without any IF statement, BA will trigger the bet immediately (assuming it is correctly formatted and you have specified the odds and the amount to bet).

Using an IF statement will allow the bet to be triggered if certain conditions are met, eg a certain back or lay price is reached, a predetermined time arrives, etc. Until the conditions you specify are met, BA will sit quietly and do nothing.
