LAY AT A SPECIFIED PRICE IN PLAY

Postby Herbie1809 » Mon Mar 29, 2010 11:30 am

Hi All,

And thanks in advance for any replies.

I'm very new to BA but learning as fast as money allows!

I know a little VBA and I'm OK with EXcel, but I'm entirely new to
Triggers.

Can someone suggest a trigger for the following:

I want to LAY a selection IN PLAY, but only if the price is between 2 set criteria.

For example,

If the price of a selection is between 6 and 10, I want to fire a LAY bet
IN PLAY.

My first few attempts have either not fired at all, or fired before the off time of the race.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Here is an example trigger for the top selection.

Code: Select all
=if(and(h5>=6,h5<=10,$e$2="In Play",$f$2<>"Suspended"),"LAY","")

The odds column should also contain the following.
Code: Select all
=h5

Thanks!

I'll give it a try.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
