Only Top Selection Showing

Postby pugs » Fri Mar 12, 2010 10:16 pm

Is this happening to anyone else

http://i696.photobucket.com/albums/vv32 ... angeBA.jpg

I have closed my BA down and reopened but still only the top selection showing, and no matter which market I go to its still only the top selection showing.

Ps, I have 2 BA’s open all day and they are fine.

Is this an option, and I have it ticked lol

I have just closed all three BA’s and when I open one BA on profile “one” or profile “two” everything is fine, but if I open a BA on profile “football” it will only display the top selection.

I tried selecting “uk horseracing” as opposed to “all inplay soccer match odds” for my quick pick, and still it will only display the top selection, so is it some strange anomaly caused by my preferences?

OR have I finally lost the plot

There is an option to restrict the market to show only selections under certain odds. I'll get back to you when i can find where the option is myself....? :)

Thanks, sorry it took so long I was looking in preferences.

But no, I have never used that function so I have no figure in there. It's strange because my "football" profile is pretty much the same as my horseracing profiles, as far as grid layout. And the rest of my preferences are pretty much default.

Thanks anyway, it has to be something like that.

It might be encountering an error after displaying the first row, possibly a bug I am unaware of.

Can you send the file named BA_Diagnostic.txt to admin@gruss-software.co.uk
You will find it it in "C:\temp\Betting Assistant Logs\Profiles\Football"

In case it's anything to do with the layout settings try selecting "Restore standard grid column layout" from the options menu. If this works then you will need to move the columns back to your preferred position.

Sorry Gary, just got back in. Thanks for your support.

I have sent you that file, but haven’t had chance to try your other suggestion yet, if you wanted to quickly connect to my pc, no problem, else I will have to try what you suggest when I can find 20 minutes somewhere.

Many thanks, Ken.

Gary, I have just sent you the “Thread exception txt”. I’m not sure but there seems to be an argument going on in there

Yes, I clicked "Restore standard grid column layout" and all selections displayed. I then shuffled the columns how I prefer them with no problems. I then closed that BA and reopened it and everything is still fine

So great thank you, and don’t worry I have added another support “tick” to my dairy for when you and Mark wish to cash them in. It must be the sunny weather that makes me think of beer gardens :D

The error logs you sent didn't reveal the problem, but at least you've got it working.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
