Liability by default

Postby Yorkie » Wed Sep 30, 2009 2:29 pm

Because a rival program is currently out of action i've just convinced a friend to use BA instead but as all my usage of BA is thru excel and his isn't i'm not fully conversant in some things.
At present he clicks on the lay odds on the grid interface and the bet verify box comes up, this has 3 tick boxes Stake, Liability and Payout. By default it's on Stake. Is it possible to have it on liability by default? Can't find anywhere to do it but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.lol

Cheers

You can change the staking mode from stake to liability (next to account balance/exposure) and the pop-up box will be for liability. However it only lasts for the current session and will revert to stake when the program is opened next time.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to have an option to set the default to liability or payout.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
