Can't Get The Charts

Postby Jimmy Mac » Tue Sep 01, 2009 12:32 pm

Using version 1.1.062 when I click on the horse
in the Grid or the Lader I can't get the charts?

Should I be using a newer version?

Cheers

Yes, some users have started to get this problem in 1.1.0.62. You can download the pre-release version 1.1.0.63c using the following link.

Are you definitely running version 1.1.0.63c?

When you click to display the chart does a blank popup appear or no popup at all?

Could they be opening minimised, does anything appear in the bottom left hand corner of the screen? If there is a selection name then you can click the square to the right of it to restore the window.

If the above didn't help then it may be that it's somehow recorded a position that is off screen. You will need to delete the settings file. Search your computer for a folder named Gruss_Software and delete it. You will then need to set up your preferences again.

Hi' Garry,
Done a File search as you said but nothing came up.
Do you know where this file will be?

I use two screens and as you said the charts went missing
when I was resizing it or moving it to the other screen.

Thanks
Jimmy

Hi Jimmy,

The folder's location depends on your operating system:-

XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\Local Settings\Application Data\

Vista: C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Local\

Regards,
Mark

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
