I'm pretty sure this is right, isn't it (stop loss)?

Hi folks, could someone just confirm the result of this back bet at 1.9 would be a lay bet for the same value at 2.4, I'm just a bit frazzled at the moment

"BACK-SL30-L"

Cheers all!

The stop loss will be triggered if the best back odds go to 2.4 or above and it always requests 1 tick higher so the lay bet would be placed at 2.42 or if the odds have jumped straight past 2.4 then 1 tick higher than the current best back odds.

It will not use the same stake as your trigger has "-L" on the end which means produce a level loss. If you want it to lay at the same stake then it should be "BACK-SL30".

I also recommend you install the latest pre-release version as I resolved two problems recently. See http://gruss-software.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3778

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
