Trigger closer to Off - help pls

Have recently started testing a horse racing system using excel & Gruss. Plan involves placing long priced back bets close to off time. But was wondering if there is a way to trigger bets closer to Actual off time, rather than using Scheduled off? Would need a feed of pre-race status ('going behind', 'loading stalls' etc) from somewhere I guess. Is there some free and easy way to get this, and feed it into excel? Cheers for any help.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software
