MyBets

Postby Shaun » Tue Aug 31, 2010 1:19 am

Just wondering if there is a way to work out different bets from this sheet, i want to lay in the win & place market and then move on to another market then return later to see how my lays are going.

I can use a runner look up to find the bets but can i tell the difference between win and place or do i need to run different workbooks for this?

Does this extract from the following post help?

You need a separate MyBets worksheet for each market.

If you have 8 markets then there should be 8 MyBets worksheets with different names. For example if the markets are logged to sheet1, sheet2, sheet3, etc. there should be 8 MyBets worksheets named sheet1_MyBets, sheet2_MyBets, sheet3_MyBets, etc.

As far as I was aware the mybets sheet will only show bets from the market you're monitoring so moving markets won't retain info from previous markets. When moving back to the market it'll clear and reload any bets for that market , can't see why you'd need more mybets sheets unless you're loading more than one market in the tab

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
