LAY-SP

Postby osknows » Sat May 22, 2010 7:32 pm

I've been asked the following elsewhere which I didn't think was possible with BA but I may be wrong....

Is it possible to place a LAY-SP trigger bet using excel but define the max odds you are willing to accept?

Eg If I want to lay a horse in a race with BFSP no higher than 3.0 and place the bet 5 seconds before the official off only if the BFSP is 3.0 or under. Is this possible as a trigger/modifier?

Hi Os
haven't try it but it is is available i think

Added new Excel triggers BACKSP and LAYSP. The stake column sets the liability and the odds column sets the minimum/maximum odds that you want to accept

it is in Version History (65) excel triggers (BA Help)

Thanks Mak. I thought I'd best ask as I was saying I didn't think it was possible

Next BA will win the scoop6 automatically for me :)

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
