New Beta version - cannot download

Postby Golfman » Tue Jul 01, 2014 4:56 pm

Hi

Tried to download the new version using the link at startup.
Had to remove current version first.

Did that but no option to load the beta available and ended up reloading the current version.

How do I get the Beta VERSION 2?

Thanks Mark

Unfortunately I hit a snag immediately with the new version, error below and the vba line which was highlighted yellow associated with it Tried to connect excel sheet greenup

Run time error
No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it (followed by an IP address).

Pressed debug and the line below was highlighted yellow:

ba.cancelAllBets

Hope you can solve

ba.cancelAllBets is one of the COM references. Have you set up your system to use the COM? If not you wont be able to access those API functions and the sheet will give errors just check out the manual on setting it up if not

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
