In Play indicator

Postby SenseiCRO » Tue May 01, 2012 6:11 pm

Hi,

I'm logging data from Excel and I notice that the [I3] cell contains Y if the game goes online, or N if it doesn't.
But, that's not all. There is some additional information in the [J3] cell. I noticed F and L in it, and I don't know if there is some other additional information like those and which is their meaning. I haven't found explanation of that indicators.

Regards,
Dean

Today I had 80 soccer matches at the quick pick list which were marked to go inplay mode.
I noticed that even if they were marked to go inplay mode, some of them, of minor leagues and friendlies did not go to inplay mode. how can that be avoided?

I'm afraid it cannot be avoided. Betfair's API reported that this market would go in play. It was also reported on their website as going in play.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
