Green or Red up at BSP?

Postby Toma » Sun Nov 27, 2011 2:44 pm

Guys, wonder if someone could tell me if there is a way to trigger a back bet on a selection and then if either the stop loss or the Tick offset have not been matched I want to green or red up at BSP?

I have used the trigger BACK-PL80-SL100P-L-SPC

I am backing and once once matched I see my tick offset lay bet come in at 80% lower than my back bet. I have no way of seeing my stop loss (but assume it is there). This all works as I want.

However, I want to Green or Red up my position using the BSP. The problem is when my tick offset isn't matched it is simply converted into an SP Lay for the liability that was set by my 80% tick offset.

I want the Lay at BSP to be a level profit or loss lay.

Any help is appreciated and I hope it all makes sense.

Cheers
Alan

I'm afraid there aren't any triggers to do that. The only way is to leave out -SPC and trigger the lay bet yourself. You can evaluate your position if you choose to log MyBets when linking to Excel. You could use the green up example spreadsheet here http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/forum/v ... php?t=4659 to green after the off if not matched.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
