Excwl trigger help!! (again)

Postby jmini123 » Wed Sep 08, 2010 8:03 pm

Hey guys, i am wondering if somebody could help me with writing a trigger?
I have a spreadsheet that places a lay bet on every horse in-play at a certain price, After the first horse has met the lay price criteria, All other bets are then cancelled.

I am looking to try and put a back trade on the said horse at for example 20ticks higher (with greening) and i have no idea how to actually right that into the sheet?

I hope for someone this could be easy to implement? I will send the sheet to anyone wanting to have a look at. It's the smash and grab sheet from the betting school, I'm not sure if gary actually wrote the sheet?? So some of you might be familiar with it?

thanks in advance

MS provide conversion tools which will convert .xlsm and .xlsx files to the older .xls version. They work quite well except where the row/column limits are exceeded and data is just truncated

On the computer that has the earlier version of Excel installed, download the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for 2007 Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint File Formats from the Microsoft Office Downloads Web site and install the updates and converters that are needed to open Excel 2007 workbooks. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/d ... layLang=en

Replace "LAY-IP" with "LAY-TL20-IP" if you want 20 ticks profit.

No problem. Those lengthy formulas can give one a headache.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
